175th Anniversary Opening Weekend Celebration events include:

FRIDAY, MAY 7th

5-7 pm     “Lee Ethel’s Fredericksburg”: The Artist’s Paintings and Archival Sources, Opening Exhibition Presentation

9:30 pm   Fireworks Show, Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park

SATURDAY, MAY 8th

10:00 am   Commemorative Founders Day Wreath Laying Ceremony, Marktplatz

SATURDAY, MAY 8th – SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th

“The Art of Fredericksburg: 175 Years” art show featuring more than 60 pieces of original art created by nearly 30 talented artists throughout Fredericksburg’s history will be on display May 8, 2021 – September 19, 2021. The free exhibit will take place in the temporary exhibit hall of the George H.W. Bush Gallery at the National Museum of the Pacific War.
